Matt Piet
Chicago's enfant terrible of solo improvised piano will play two sets of originals, jazz standards, and extended improvisations.

Downbeat magazine called Piet's "City in a Garden" a "listener's paradise."

Marilyn Crispell praised Piet's "contrapuntal lines," "seamless transitions," and "sense of drama." "[Piet] plays with INTENTION!"

Don't miss the opportunity to hear him in the most intimate of settings.

Dirt Road Jazz
"Dirt Road Jazz" is an occasional house concert series featuring exceptional improvisational artists. It is an opportunity to hear great music in a very intimate setting. Tickets are strictly limited to 35 seats, and all proceeds go directly to the artists.

As the performance space is a private home in Montague, MA -- equal access cannot be guaranteed (though we do try to accommodate as much as we can). Parking is limited (and tricky), and you may have to walk as far as 300 paces to get here. After all, it is at the end of a dirt road . . .
